"Se-back where you came from."

Films: The Mummy-Rebirth (2019)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Desert/Cave/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Mummies have all sorts of ways of making their presence known. Some just go for the quick and simple rampage around the place. Others reach into the darkest bowels of evil magic. Sebek here was a case of the latter. And it was a damn impressive display of using all trump cards of the Underworld...had the budget been any bigger than it was.

History: Long ago in Egypt, Sebek and his forbidden lover were caught trying to find the key to immortality, and were executed. However, a legend persisted that Sebek was in fact the reincarnation of a God, as well as the one he loved. If anyone were to disturb his tomb, he would use the power of a special stone to bring about the end times, and summon monsters from the Underworld. Naturally, a bunch of people came into his place to raid the tomb, and Sebek saw it fit to reset the world as he had promised. Now, there are mummies and demons all over the place.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After Sebek summons a kaiju-sized demon, one person uses what little power there is left in the stone to destroy it and the rest of his armies. It would seem that the evil has been defeated.

Powers/Abilities: Much like his mummy minions, Sebek can suck out your soul and turn your body to dust. He can also summon all manner of demons.

Weakness: The power of the stone that controls the creatures of the Underworld.

Scariness Factor: 2-Sebek himself isn't the worst looking mummy, but much like everything else around him, the effects leave much to be desired. It's ten times worse with his minions, who are either Halloween mummies or awful CGI monsters. And the CGI is truly bad even by Syfy standards. Just look at how stiffly the giant one moves!

Trivia: -Sebek's human form was played by Shamel Hashish. At least they didn't try to whitewash a person from Egypt, this time.

We're near the end. Can we finish already?
